Developmental Editing, Line Editing, & Copy Editing
Developmental Editing
$.01 per word
*Repeat clients receive a 5% discount. If you refer someone who ends up becoming a client, you’ll receive another 5% discount as well. One referral per manuscript.
Scenes, chapters, characters, POV, and the overall plot(s) will be analyzed. The goal is to tighten the plot, flesh out your characters, and improve your story's structure. This edit includes in-line comments and an editorial feedback letter.
Line Editing
$.01 per word
*Repeat clients receive a 5% discount. If you refer someone who ends up becoming a client, you’ll receive another 5% discount as well. One referral per manuscript.
This type of edit is for manuscripts that contain a solid plot structure and well-developed scenes. When editing, we'll check for spelling consistency, sentence flow, filter words, crutch words, word usage, punctuation, grammar, POV shifts, and much more. If needed, comments about improving plot and characters will be noted. This edit includes in-line comments and an editorial feedback letter.
Copy Editing
$.01 per word
*Repeat clients receive a 5% discount. If you refer someone who ends up becoming a client, you’ll receive another 5% discount as well. One referral per manuscript.
Copy editing is reserved for manuscripts that have been thoroughly edited and simply need an in-depth proofread before querying or publishing. The focus of this edit includes checking for spelling consistency, typos, and punctuation (commas, hyphens, quotation marks, etc.). This edit includes in-line comments.

We want to make sure our services meet your expectations by offering a free sample edit for the first 500 words of your manuscript. Don't hesitate to contact us, even if you're unsure about what type of edit you need.
Query Editing
$50
This package includes two rounds of editing and is tailored specifically to your editorial needs. Some queries need more developmental help during the first round, and other queries are in better shape and simply need line edits or to be proofread. This package includes in-line comments. If your query still needs more editing after two rounds, an extra pass can be completed for an extra $25.
Synopsis Editing
$100
This package includes two rounds of editing and is tailored specifically to your editorial needs. Some synopses need help with the overall format, and other synopses need less help with formatting but more help with line editing. This package includes in-line comments.
